Program Assistants are vital to our everyday residential operations. The successful candidate for these positions will provide supports to individuals with disabilities in a residential (Group Home, Supervised Apartment, or Supportive Living) environment.
Responsibilities include teaching life skills and managing the personal care of all the individuals living in the community residence. The successful candidate will be at least 18 years of age, have a valid, NJ Driver's License with no more than 5 points, and a minimum of a H.S. Diploma/G.E.D.

The Arc, Ocean County Chapter is currently seeking a full time Accountant. The Accountant will manage and execute the fundamental accounting functions associated with accounts receivable including invoicing, cash receipts and Medicaid Billing Reconciliation. Responsible for researching and solving claim issues between Molina Medicaid Solutions and the Arc. The position is also responsible for, but not limited to: 401(k) administration, manage or assist in the monthly closing process, record the agency’s monetary receipts and insure proper applications of funds, file quarterly sales tax return, maintain an accurate vehicle inventory, maintain all related motor vehicle insurance and motor vehicle administration, and prepare financial statements for the Executive Director and State Agencies.
Interested candidates must possess a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, a minimum of 2 years prior accounting experience, strong work ethic with an emphasis on attention to detail, the ability to identify and resolve accounting system issues, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of Blackbaud accounting is a plus. Experience with Medicaid billing is also required.
We are currently seeking Assistant Group Home Managers who will be responsible for assisting the manager with the the day to day operation of a community residence that supports individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities will include assistance with teaching life skills and guiding the personal and social development of the individuals in the home, as well as writing and managing individual habilitation plans for each of the residents in the group home. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will be assist with maintaining staff schedules and assisting the manager with scheduling staff for trainings.

We are currently seeking several Program Instructors to work in our Adult Training Centers.
The successful candidate will provide direct support and individualized vocational training to the participants of this day program. The Program Instructor will provide assistance with activities, daily living, and socialization, and will ensure that participants are given the opportunity to be trained in the vocational area(s) of interest, based on the participants' skill sets.

We are currently offering a great opportunity to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities! We are in need of Group Home Managers to oversee Residential Programs in Brick. Responsibilities include the overall management of daily activities of residents in the Group Home. Scheduling staff and ensuring that DDD standards are maintained throughout all facets of the Group Home. Must also recruit, hire, and supervise staff in the performance of their duties.
The successful candidate must be at least 18yrs. of age, have a valid NJ DL with no more than 5pts, and a minimum of 2 years working with individuals with disabilities as well as previous experience working in a Group Home. May need to be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the programs. The Residence Manager must also be willing to participate in a Monthly On-Call Rotation.
As an agency RN, the successful candidate will provide complete physical assessments of our consumers. They will also be responsible for providing medication and health care education to all required staff. The agency RN will also develop and monitor the care plan for consumers and will update each plan as needed.
This is a Full-Time position that would provide support to individuals served in both our Vocational and Residential programs.
Proof of current licensure from the NJ Board of Nursing will be required; BSN in psychology or related field is preferred.
Employment Specialists work with participants in our Self-Directed Services Programs. They are responsible for developing employment, self-employment, and/or volunteer opportunities to expand on skills necessary for competitive employment. They also provide community based job training opportunities to address job modifications and/or job restructuring to develop natural supports. They also provide job, career and life skill training to enhance employability skills. Must be able to contact, network and develop relationships with potential employers.
This position requires a BS/BA in Human Services or related field.
To assist, mentor, advise, and instruct individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while they secure gainful employment within the community.
Candidate must be 18 yrs or older, have a valid NJ DL w/no more than 5pts, and a high school diploma or GED. We are seeking individuals that have experience working in the field of developmental disabilities and is familiar with the background of job coaching and instruction. Must have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the individuals within our services, this is a 40hr per week position.

We are currently seeking Part-Time Recreation Assistants to work with individuals with disabilities in a social setting. A Recreation Assistant provides opportunities for participants to enhance their quality of life by increasing socialization skills, integrating into the community and participating in recreational activities on site and in their community.
The successful candidate will provide supports during different group outings, social events (i.e. Dances, fitness clubs, arts & crafts, cooking clubs, etc.) and small group trips. They will provide transportation (using agency vehicles) and provide support and supervision during various activities. Additionally, they will encourage active involvement in all activities and present as a good social role model for all individuals within the programs.

The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, a non-profit organization that supports individuals
with disabilities, is seeking currently seeking Full Time, Part Time and Substitute LPNs to work with individuals with disabilities. We are looking for full-time LPNs in the Barnegat area and Part Time and Substitutes for the Brick area.
The LPN, under the direction of the agency RN, monitors and provides for the
clinical care of our residents, including assessment, planning, implementation
and evaluation. They will collect case histories, record services provided, and
prepare medication records.
The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with
individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and at least 1
year of medical/surgical experience. They will also be at least 18 yrs. of age
and have a valid NJ Driver's License with no more than 5 points.
