The Arc, Ocean County Chapter is proud to be a part of a large advocacy and resource network for individuals with disabilities and their families. The Arc of New Jersey Family Institute offers the "DDD Go Bag" to help families navigate New Jersey's Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) to secure supports and services for people with IDD over age 21.
NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)
There are several steps to take before receiving support from DDD. An individual with an intellectual or developmental disability may apply at 18 years, and if eligible, will start receiving services at 21 years of age.

NJ Department of Children and Families (DCF)
The DCF Children's System of Care offers a wide range of services for children up to age 21 for behavioral health or developmental disability needs. These services include community-based services, in-home services, out-of-home residential services, and family support services.
