On Friday, October 2nd, we held our Celebrate The Arc Casino Night in the Atlantis Ballroom in Toms River where we raised over $62,000!
The night featured a cocktail reception, all sorts of casino games, and a lot of fun. Guests started the night with $500 of play money and were able to play poker, blackjack, roulette, craps and more to see if they could win big, and turn their play money into raffle tickets!
Once the games closed, tickets were placed to try your luck to win 90+ gift baskets. We had a large variety of gift baskets with high roller prizes valued above $200 such as tickets to the Lion King on Broadway, a 55-inch smart TV, pink beach cruiser bicycle, and passes to Six Flags, to gift baskets with gift cards to local businesses, wine, spa and self care, coffee, and more.
Congratulations to all the night's winners! The event was a great success thanks to the Committee, and a special thank you to the local businesses who donated prizes for the gift auction, and especially our event sponsors including Platinum Sponsors Lester Glenn and OceanFirst Bank.
Proceeds from The Arc's special events support our programs and services for people with disabilities, and provide us an opportunity to be innovative in direct care and live in an even more inclusive community.
