This October, we honor community inclusion by bringing awareness to disability employment issues and career opportunities for people with disabilities. National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) 2026 theme is "Celebrating Value and Talent."
The Arc would like to encourage local businesses to hire individuals with disabilities in all fields of work. The Arc Employment Center (AEC) can provide production work, shredding services, or commercial cleaning throughout Ocean County, providing adults with disabilities a weekly paycheck and greater independence.
Employment Supports works with local companies to provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to participate in a variety of work experiences in the most integrated environment possible. Individuals sample jobs to develop career interests, and ideally find lasting, competitive employment. We are always looking for new local job sites to partner with.
