Every June, we ask our self-advocates, families, friends and neighbors to become a member of The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, The Arc of New Jersey, and The Arc US to advocate for individuals with disabilities and be the voice of our community.
Together we are advocating at our nation's capital to protect Medicaid and at the NJ Governor's office advocating funding priorities for people with disabilities like fee-for-service rates, DSP wages, and moving people off the state waiting list. We are educating and advocating the decision-makers about the life-changing impact they can have on our community.
