Clinical Supports Better Behavior

Throughout February, the Clinical Supports Better Behavior group embraced the theme of Love while honoring Black History Month.

Participants from the Lakewood ATC and Tuckerton ATC engaged in heartfelt reflections on the meaning of love and discussed impactful ways to express it to friends and family.

To celebrate these themes, each participant contributed to the “Love Is” project, individualizing their creations with original drawings, words, or carefully selected images that embody their personal interpretations of love, such as symbols of Peace and Food.

Additionally, in recognition of Black History Month, participants at the Lakewood ATC crafted individual paper quilt squares that were united to create a larger community quilt. This collaborative artwork represents unity, diversity, and the importance of every individual’s unique contribution. The completed paper quilt stands as a powerful visual reminder that each voice, story, and act of love holds significance.

The Better Behavior group supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through Positive Behavior Supports, enhancing confidence, self-awareness, and healthy relationships.
