The Arc, Ocean County Chapter proudly celebrated our 5th Annual Winter Wonderland Art Gallery at The Strand Theater in Lakewood, transforming the historic venue into a festive showcase of creativity and community.
This annual event highlights the artistic talents of individuals in our Adult Training Center vocational day programs, who spent the past season creating winter-themed paintings during step-by-step classes led by the Toms River Artists Community.
Thanks to the support of a grant from the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission, participants were able to explore new techniques, grow their artistic confidence, and bring their visions to life.
At the gallery reception, all five Adult Training Centers came together to enjoy a joyful holiday celebration surrounded by their own original artwork proudly displayed throughout the theater. Participants, staff, and community members joined in to appreciate the artists’ achievements and share in the magic of the season.
We were especially grateful to welcome members of the Lakewood Police Department and Fire Department, who stopped by to admire the paintings and even purchased holiday cards featuring the participants’ art.
We look forward to continuing this tradition of creativity and celebration for years to come.
