The Arc, Ocean County Chapter celebrated our outstanding Board Vice President, Joanne Bergin for her Legacy of Volunteerism Award at The Arc of New Jersey's Annual Awards Dinner on Tuesday, May 20th.
Volunteers are the very foundation of The Arc and Joanne has dedicated 25 years to supporting individuals with disabilities at the local and state chapters. She joined The Arc of Ocean County in 2000 where she served as Board President twice and currently sits as Board Vice President, and served The Arc of New Jersey as President from 2016-2021.
Her unwavering dedication to individuals with disabilities, their families and the community is admirable. She provides valuable insights for Chapter Leadership and ensures the needs of people with IDD are at the forefront of every decision made. She is a powerful advocate for our community and we are so fortunate to have her at The Arc, Ocean County Chapter. Today we celebrate you Joanne!
