Inspired by the holiday season, participants at The Arc Adult Training Centers painted canvases to display at The Strand Theater in Lakewood this month for the Winter Wonderland Art Gallery.
The Strand welcomed our participants and families to a reception on December 5th where we celebrated their art, sold holiday cards designed as the paintings, and enjoyed yummy cake.
Prior to the Art Gallery, we partnered with our new friends at the Toms River Artist Community to provide a guided paint lesson at all of the ATCs. It was a great experience for all!
This project, instilling the love of art in our participants with disabilities while highlighting their talents, was funded by the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
