National Nonprofit Day

National Nonprofit Day

On August 17th, The Arc, Ocean County Chapter will join the celebration of National Nonprofit Day, a special day to recognize the amazing impact nonprofits have on communities and the world.

It’s a day to highlight the vital role nonprofits play in our local communities to identify societal challenges, spread awareness, and fill gaps where services are most needed. The hard work of these organizations is a true testament to the passion and dedication of the people behind them, bringing about positive change and spreading hope far and wide.

Since 1955, The Arc, Ocean County Chapter has proudly been part of this incredible nonprofit network, building on the legacy of our national chapter, which started in 1950. For nearly 70 years, we’ve been on a mission to advocate for and provide the support that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities need to be embraced and valued as full members of our community.

As we celebrate National Nonprofit Day, we’re excited to reflect on all the ways we’ve made a difference in Ocean County, thanks to the dedication of our amazing staff, volunteers, and supporters. Together, we’re making our community a place where everyone can thrive!
