Resident's Point of View - Residential Openings!

Collage of The Arc's residents and participants in April.

The Arc, Ocean County Chapter is currently welcoming new residents and participants with openings in our group homes, supervised apartments, and adult training centers (day program).

"I like living here at Laurel Oaks. It’s different then when I was living at home with my mom. I am trying to get used to the different noises. I enjoy the outings we do like bowling, the comedy show, the movies, walking on the Barnegat Trail with staff and going to the gym on premises.  I am looking forward to the Walk-A-Thon and the spring formal that are coming up. We are also going to a dance at the Manchester High School. This is close to where I lived with my mom.  I enjoy living with my roommate Richard.  All the staff are very nice and good cooks. There’s always staff around in case I need to talk to someone," said Butch, a resident in Supervised Apartments.

Residential Services has six vacancies in two group homes and four supervised apartments for the right candidate.
