The Kessler Foundation awarded us a grant in 2020 to purchase iPads for our residents to virtually communicate with friends and family while social distancing. 

The residents have been able to connect personally, but have also experienced skill development thanks to our virtual recreation and vocational services.

These iPads have been used by residents in our group homes, supervised apartments and supportive living apartments to work on life and technology skills, while having fun participating in creative programs.

These skills and apps include:

• math, reading and writing 
• communication and language 
• brain games and puzzles 
• coloring and creativity 
• emotional support

We look forward to continue to grow and learn in our virtual world at #ArcOcean!
