Our friends Eric and Britt from the Journeys and Discovery vocational program had the chance to try a new job sample at 10 Lil Acres Farm, where they helped with farm chores, met lots of animals, and enjoyed the fresh air.
Afterward, they each wrote short reflections about their experiences:
"I went to a new job sample at 10 Lil Acres Farm. I went to work raking the leaves. I shoveled the leaves onto the truck. I fed the horses, goats, ponies, and the donkey. I saw many animals. My favorite animals are the cats. I like going to the farm because I like the animals. I want to go to the farm again. Afterward, I went to the park to eat lunch." By: Eric L.
