This summer, The Arc, Ocean County Chapter is highlighting the voices of the people we support through our Summer Series, and this time, we’re hearing from participants in the Journeys and Discovery programs about what makes their summers special!
For Holden R., summer is all about cookies and cream ice cream and swimming to stay cool. He’s looking forward to visiting the new Dave & Buster’s at the Freehold Mall.
Mike J. enjoys vanilla ice cream in a cone and shooting hoops, with dreams of visiting Hawaii before the season wraps up.
Brittany L. shares her love for vanilla ice cream and working at the swim school with her mom, and she hopes to take a magical trip to Disney World soon.
Jeanette W. is a fan of classic ice cream sandwiches and pool days, and she’s looking forward to seeing a new movie.
Tiffany B. loves mint chocolate chip ice cream, celebrating her birthday, and taking a trip to the iconic Chicken or the Egg restaurant in LBI.
Tim G. sticks to plain vanilla ice cream, enjoys playing volleyball and his goal is to see the new Superman movie before summer ends.
