The Arc, Ocean County Chapter was proud to be honored as a Community Partner at the Jersey Shore BlueClaws game this summer.
The spotlight shone brightly on Jamar, a resident of the Silverton Group Home, who not only sang God Bless America but also threw the ceremonial first pitch and energized the crowd by leading the 7th inning stretch. His presence and performance were a beautiful reminder of the talent and spirit within the individuals we support.
Staff from The Arc hosted an outreach table at the stadium, providing information about programs, services, and employment opportunities to attendees. It was an incredible platform to engage the local community and raise awareness about the organization's mission of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
To top it off, our Director of Development joined the BlueClaws’ broadcast team for a live on-air interview, sharing details about The Arc’s impact, upcoming events, and ways the community can get involved.
Thank you to the Jersey Shore BlueClaws for this memorable evening and continued partnership. Events like these help amplify our message and celebrate the individuals who make The Arc’s mission come to life every day.
