Oh, what a year it has been! The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, had so much to celebrate in 2025 as we proudly marked our 70th Anniversary milestone. With joyful smiles, lasting friendships, and a strong sense of community, we close out the year feeling grateful for all we achieved and excited for what’s ahead.

Our Special Olympics program expanded with new track and field, pickleball, and volleyball teams, opening the door for even more athletes to compete and shine.
Several moments captured the attention of our wider community, including our Turkey Bowl being featured on the news and a special video from the New Jersey Governor’s Office highlighting Direct Support Professionals, recognizing the heart of our mission.
Our signature fundraisers, the Step Up for The Arc Walk and Casino Night, brought supporters together while raising vital funds to support our services.
Creativity and confidence were on full display at the Journeys and Discovery Talent Show, while excellence was celebrated when a member of our Employment Center staff and a participant received a STAR Award.
We were also grateful for community partners like OceanFirst Bank volunteers, who helped make Field Day a memorable success.
We proudly recognized our team during DSP Recognition Week and raised awareness during Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, reinforcing our commitment to inclusion and advocacy.
One unforgettable highlight was a resident singing the National Anthem at a Jersey Shore BlueClaws game, a powerful moment of pride for our entire community.
As we step into 2026, we do so with gratitude for our participants, families, staff, volunteers, and supporters. After 70 years of service, our mission continues to thrive, and the future is brighter than ever!
