On Thursday, July 23rd Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity visited our Spiral group home to beautify the property and build two new garden beds for the residents to enjoy.
The volunteers helped with weeding, gardening, tree trimming, and more outdoor landscaping while safely social distancing outside on the lawn.
The residents are most excited for their new garden beds to plant flowers and grow vegetables this summer season. Learning new skills like gardening is a great activity to do while staying home.
We are grateful for our partnership with Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity and look forward to more projects in the near future where we can all join in on the fun!
