It’s Time to Stretch with #ArcOcean

Some residents here at The Arc, Ocean County Chapter have been focusing on their physical and mental wellness, simply by practicing yoga a few times a week.

The residents are following along to pre-recorded yoga classes that guide them through different yoga poses and deep breathing exercises.

Yoga can help improve sleep, reduce blood pressure, teach patience and strengthen muscles. It is also a great coping mechanism to help boost mental health. 

By following a quick yoga routine a few times a week, our residents are able to reflect on their mental wellness and improve their physical wellness.
