Dear Friends of The Arc, Ocean County Chapter:

 

For over 55 years, The Arc, Ocean County Chapter has been creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc began as a group of parents and concerned individuals who wanted more for their children.  It continues to be a grassroots organization with over 730 chapters. All are committed to working at local, state and federal levels to promote and protect human rights and help people achieve full and satisfying lives.

    

With our new look, The Arc, Ocean County Chapter is recommitting to the same values that our founding parents valued.

Every day our consumers, staff and board of directors strive to live these values.  We have accomplished great things together.   I am grateful for this opportunity to shine the light on the valuable work our agency does and to, once again, get the message out to the broader public that we all deserve to live in communities where we are accepted and valued.

    

Our new tagline “Achieve with us.” says a lot about our mission.  We are committed to helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live self-directed lives where they achieve their goals and feel good about themselves.
