In 1955 a group of parents came together for the common goal of securing services and programs for their children with developmental disabilities. Joining the national movement, The Arc of the United States, these families founded The Arc, Ocean County Chapter.   

providing opportunities, advocacy and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities in Ocean County, New Jersey.

Today, we continue their work by improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, and helping to advocate for and support their rights to live in our community.
